From Zeuthen via Wildau in the direction of Königs Wusterhausen you can reach
Funkerberg with impressive broadcasting towers. In 1914 a radio operator's garrison had been established here.
After the war the Reichspost took over the facility, and on the 22nd December, 1920 a concert from Königs Wusterhausen
radio station had been transmitted as the first public German radio broadcast. You can learn more about the history of German
radio broadcasting service in the museum of radio on the mountain.
The history of Königs Wusterhausen is connected first of all with a Prussian king Friedrich Wilhelm I. Here he was prepared himself for his reign, satisfied his passion for hunting and commemorated the legendary tobacco Board.
Nowdays it is the castle-museum. The exposition is dedicated to artworks of Prussia-Brandeburg in the first half of the 18-th century.
Castle, castle garden and both knights' houses form a unique ensemble and are a center of attraction for those who are interested in history and culture.

In the western part of Zeuthen you can find in the Miersdorf district a highly recommended to visit tavern at the lake with generously constructed outdoor swimming pool.

The Zeuthen center (with S-Bahn) is located at approx. 1,5 km distance, and Eichwalde center is located at just 1 km distance (walking distance 10-15 minutes).
A garden with quiet places for staying and a pond with splendid verdure are at your disposal. Bicycles can be parked in the estate. Bicycle hiring at extra charge upon necessity.
