If you rise in summer in the skies, Zeuthener lake shines like an emerald polished by nature in the flat, spacious and sandy Mark Brandenburg. Elegant single- and multi-family houses stretch along its 5 km long shore with free avenues, riverside walks, forest, beaches and boat stations.

In the western part of Zeuthen in the Miersdorf district, there is Badesee with spaciously laid out outdoor swimming pool and a highly recommended pub at the lake. Not far there is a fieldstone church built in the 13-th century, and if you are on the way by bicycle and if you like pulsating life, just 2 km farther there is spaciously laid out A10 center - shopping and leisure world with cinema, restaurants, bowling bar, disco, building market and plant center.

It´s worth coming and seeing.

Berlin's surrounding area and the capital of Berlin

Zeuthen in the southern suburbs of Berlin is surrounded by forests and lakes and offers possibilities of a nice and recreative vacation for the whole year. In summer it is possible to bathe in many lakes, surf, sail or explore the surrounding nature by bicycle or on foot. In winter snow-covered woods invite to go hiking.
Eichwalde, Schulzendorf, Wildau, Grünau boat racing course, scientific center Berlin-Adlershof, Königs Wusterhausen place, Köpenick with the famous city hall, Rauchfangswerder or Karolinenhof are located very close and easy to reach.
Bad Saarow at Scharmützelsee located in the southern direction of Spreewald, Tropical Islands and/or of course Berlin and Potsdam with their remarkable history, numerous museums, lovely buildings and various cultural offers are also interesting destinations.

Zeuthen lies in the southern outskirts of Berlin. It takes 25–30 minutes to get to the center or 1 hour to Potsdam by S-Bahn from S-Bahnhof Eichwalde (10 minutes walking distance) or from S-Bahnhof Zeuthen (15 minutes walking distance). It is faster by a car, half an hour to Potsdam and approx. 20-30 minutes to the center of Berlin.
By the way: a quiet bicycle track leads to the center of Berlin from Zeuthen via Grünau along the new highway.
